Energy Field is an upgrade available for the Monarch Titan, via Tier 2 of the Upgrade Core. When picked, it allows the Energy Siphon to function siphon energy in a large Area-of-Effect (AOE) as opposed to the precise beam of previous.

Energy Field allows the ability to siphon from around a corner or around a shield, increases consistency of siphoning targets using defensives. Most importantly, it allows the user to siphon a group of targets and gain extra shield in the process. This is especially useful against large groups of AI enemies, such as the groups found in Bounty Hunt. Attrition is another game mode where this part of the upgrade is most useful. Outside of those gamemodes, however, this ability is not as useful, as the number of times where a bunch of enemy titans are tightly grouped up is quite small.
