Fracture is a multiplayer map featured in Titanfall. Its setting takes place in a fuel depot that was once a rich neighborhood. Once war broke out in the frontier, however, fracking was deployed as a means of meeting the heavily increased production demands, resulting in the area becoming incredibly geologically unstable, leading to its abandonment. Fracture was one of the first maps confirmed to be in Titanfall.

Overview[]

FractureBattle

The IMC’s discovery of fuel-rich veins beneath this once-beautiful community led to aggressive, systematic fracking of the area, turning it into a seismically unstable shell of its former opulence. Titans rule much of the jagged terrain, forcing Pilots to move through and take cover within the interiors of the abandoned buildings. The best Pilots will carefully time their Cloak usage for the precise amount of time that is necessary to move between the protective interior spaces, or use every available square inch of vertical surface to string together complex wall-run routes.[1]

Be prepared to face nearly every weapon in the Pilot arsenal as you fight snipers on the rooftops, shotguns in the buildings, and everything in between on this versatile map.

The three Heavy Turrets in Fracture (on top of the Art Gallery, Security Building, and Landing Pad) cannot be hacked and serve no function outside the campaign.

Trivia[]

  • If the Militia loses the match, the transport ship named Redeye which is stationed above the fuel depot gets destroyed, like in the campaign.

  • After jumping out into space on the losing team's Dropship, the Militia fleet can be seen as they were in the campaign mission's intro, even if the player is on the IMC team.
