Livefire - bountyhunt

Live Fire is a game mode in Titanfall 2. It was not packaged in the original release, but instead added in the update of the same name on February 23, 2017.

Gameplay[]

Live Fire is a first-to-five, pilots-only game mode where each player only has one life.

The primary objective in Live Fire is to kill the pilots on the other team, or have more of your own pilots surviving by the end of the round. In addition, the middle of the map has a single flag, similar to the ones used in Capture the Flag. This flag is neutral, and can be captured by both teams. If a pilot is holding the flag when time runs out, their team wins.

Maps[]

Live Fire is played on special maps not used in most other modes. Live Fire maps are significantly smaller than normal multiplayer maps, while each "Round" only lasts thirty seconds, leading to short, intense firefights.

The first Live Fire Maps released are Stacks and Meadow.

In April 2017, the Glitch in the Frontier update added the map Deck, in addition to adding all three Live Fire maps to private match, and the ability to play Live Fire on standard maps. Glitch may also be played in Live Fire.

CTF Live Fire[]

In April 2017, a variant of Capture the Flag - Nitro CTF - was introduced. This version took place on Live Fire Maps. Unlike normal Live Fire mode, this mode allowed respawning, and returning the flag was done as soon as a pilot touched it. Later in the month, the Live Fire maps were rolled into the rotation for CTF maps.
