The SERE Kit attached to BT-7274.
The SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape) Kit is a piece of equipment employed by the Frontier Militia's Special Recon Squadron. It consists of a Data Knife, Smart Pistol, and the corresponding Titan's AI core. A SERE Kit is available in every active duty Vanguard-Class Titan as a pilot's last ditch effort against enemy forces after their Titan has been rendered inoperable, and is only effective in assisting a pilot's escape and survival from the battlefield.
The only known instance of the usage of the kit was when BT-7274 detached it from his chassis and gave it to Jack Cooper to aid him in his escape, alongside the Titan's AI's, to the exterior grounds of the Fold Weapon. Tai Lastimosa is seen taking the knife from BTs SERE kit after Cooper exits the simpod in the beginning of the game.

- The SERE Kit's name & function is heavily based on the training program from civilians to US military personal (such as Army Special Forces AKA Green Berets) around survival skills, evading capture, application of the military code of conduct, and techniques for escape from captivity.
- "SERE Kit" is also the name of the 13th song of the Titanfall 2 Original Soundtrack.
