Tempered Plating is a Scorch Titan Kit in Titanfall 2. It negates all self-damage from Scorch's Thermite, whilst also removing critical hitboxes from the Titan.
Strategy
This kit contributes greatly to an agressive play style, allowing players to pass through their own thermite and give chase unharmed, or improve their chances of trapping an opponent.
Far more risks can be taken, given the invulnerability to critical hits.
